Baphomet Criers
| |
The Baphomet Criers featuring Fred Mertz from California (Oregon) composed the tune "Loogie Lounge" which is the score for the oh-so wacky death of a child abusing drunk by beer and a shovel scene in Breakfast of Imbeciles.

Leslie Dishslayer
Leslie Dishslayer is a kickass acoustic artist from around Ottawa. Although she is a singing bike messenger at heart her last reported occupation was a councillor at a camp for young offenders. A very interesting person who writes some damn fine songs.

Mad Moisell
Mad Moisell were an awesome trio from Japan that released one self titled disc in the North America through a small label called Blossom. Very hard to find but very worth finding if you like that Japanese girl rock that seems to have become popular since Kill Bill volume 1 was released. Mad Moisell was made up of Taeko Ito, Yoppy Kobayashi, and Tomomi Miura. Taeko and Tomomi have gone on to form Diesel Ann.

Mold $ Mildew with special guest Bob
Mold $ Mildew offer acoustic protest music for the apathetic radical in us all. On the song used in Breakfast Of Imbeciles Bob Mold and Joannie Mildew are joined by BOB of Cauliflower Ass and Bob fame who actually wrote the song they perform "Worthless Asshole". Keep and eye out for the eagerly anticipated anthology disc coming soon!

Pansy Division
Pansy Division featuring Jon Ginoli & Chris Freeman provided the danceable number "No Protection" that was playing away while Baio was freaking away in his car in the world reknowned roadside freakout scenes of Breakfast Of Imbeciles. Pansy Division were on the forefront of the homocore movement that was very strong in the mid 90's. They toured with the likes of Green Day and Chixdiggit, were joined on stage by Rob Halford of Judas Priest fame, and in the studio by that guy from the Napster crushing Metallica. They are currently on the Alternative Tentacles label and have just released an anthology Cd/DVD set which you can order directly from them at a very reasonable price. Why don't we continue with the name dropping here. The real Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra approves of their lifestyle so perhaps you can too. How's that? Oh yeah, in March 2005 their song "at the Mall" was also featured in the mall episode of the O.C. What the hell, let's keep the name dropping going for Google's sake. Try a taste of Pansy here with none other than Tre Cool on dums. Oh and don't forget to check out patrick's power pop band the plus ones on Asian man records where Ben Weasel and Screeching Weasel now call home.

Shityri
Shityri provide the track used at the end of Breakfast Of Imbeciles. Shityri were a great German band, kind of a female ramones, from Germany in the late 90's. They released 1 7" ep, 1 full length CD on Hass Produktion in May 1996, and were on at least one international compilation that also included bands such as the 5,6,7,8's. They disbanded soon after their debut Cd was released. Too bad.

The Underdubs
| |
The underdubs seem to be a loose collective of local musicians in the Listowel area that come together to jam funky grooves. Corey Coates, Jeff Sproul, Robert Tanner , Ray Kitney, and Shawn Henderson have all lent their talents to the group. You might be able to get inthere as well if you are a musician in the Listowel, Ontario area as Corey is going to be teaching english in Costa Rica, Robert is already teaching english in China, and Shawn has had a falling out with the others. You might want to email Jeff at holidaybob666 (at)hotmail.com. They provided a lot of the instrumental music in Breakfast of Imbeciles.
