Probe magazine was a staple of our reading habits through the 1990's. Not for the information that it covered which was often out of date due to the long periods between issues.  The magazine pulled in readers through candid discussions of the editors social life and his tales of blossoming sexuality from grade school to adulthood. Aaron Muentz was like a punk rock Bukowski without intending to go there. Often tender and insightful as well. This movie that Aaron has given his blessing to will be kind of like an abrasive "High Fidelity". We are very early in the pre-production stage of this and if I were to guess this will not be finished until 2010 or so. We're very excited about this one though. Probe records will give you some idea of what you will be in for but the magazines themselves are way out of print i think.
